good idea, but how 'bout using syncing?

the idea is good, but the different parts (drums, backing, and guitar) seem to be on different time signatures, and speeds...like they are just layered wavs, from unrelated tracks....

YoinK responds:

okay, thanks for the feedback. I am kind of new at this. The drums was a loop in garageband and the rest was made by me using the keyboard.

great tune...just quality is lacking

the track is wonderful, but it was hard to listen too, becasue of the extra distortion.

it sounds as though when you rendered it into mp3 (or whatever you submitted) you had the you had the volume of either each track, or the overall volume too high.

it caused extra grindy distortion on the higher parts, and the bass muffled out all the goodness.

i would suggest rerender..perhaps with some EQ...but absolutely with the volume turned down on the track..so it can be more clear...you do that and i will download!

Petwoip responds:

Yeah, I did turn up the master volume, but I don't notice too much of what you are talking about. Maybe our speakers are different. Who knows?

Anyway, this is how it stays since I can't edit submitted audio.

holy crap...volume leveling please

well, some of the sounds may have been ok, but i really couldn't tell.
each sound (drums, melody guitar...etc..) were either really quiet, for soo loud they distorted..
and where is rest of the song?
you got that riff right, but what about the rest?

diggin' the groove.

nice...maybe some more melody over top?
other than that, nice grooves....it is like great beats from multiple songs...

lmaobanana responds:

thank you... i didnt expect anyone to see my song... much less review... ESPECIALLY not teo people... my day... no, month has been made... twice!

nice feel to it

now i disagree with other reviews...
i see a montage, of still images, showing all types of emotions..joy, fear, struggle against all odds.

the eclectic mishmash of sounds in the background, pulls out all kinds of extra thoughts..not related to the 2 main feelings created by the strings/paino, and the break beat drums.

great work.

Rawrthaas responds:

yay

GOOD GROOVE

it got my foot tapping.
and i like how it sped up, and slowed down.
only issue was a personal taste thing..the bass seemed a little too wobbly to me.

the melody was great..

Masebb responds:

Thank You! C=
I gonna have lower volume on the bass next time XD

PUNK?

why is this listed as punk?
it is not punk..whatever it is.
seems to be an ok beginning to a tune, but maybe do more than one riff....you know 2 measures do make a song.
get some melody, in there, and maybe turn back the flange like 3 or 4 steps.

also when you resubmit, put it in the right category....

hey you got the stereo right this time!

it is catchy but doesn't really do alot of different things.
but i can dig it. keep it up man.

really good

nice riffs,
but it would be way heavier with chords.
just make the same riff with the same instruments one octave lawer, and another 5 steps lower, and you wil get that heavy guitar sound better.

STOLEN! 3RD ONE SO FAR

LIKE I SAID BEFORE THIS COMES WITH FRUITY LOOPS!
i mean for pete's fucking sake! this is the tune that is there and playing the first time tou open the thing.
you really are a retard.
thief

Quickbeam responds:

I actually changed all of them and edited the sound and quality of the song. I also added a bit on the end. So dont say all my songs are stolen!

For every mistake you make, remember that you have just eliminated another possibility, and come that much closer to the goal.
