kinda looses the beat.

i do not understand the point of the accents, being so loud, and you might want to try using a metronome (a flashing light version so you can see it, and we don't hear it.

this could be a better song, with it staying on beat.

also, if this is you "first submission" what is the other one that you submitted a month ago?!?!

CharlieRisingMoon responds:

I thought that submission didn't go through but it did so it really isn't. sorry for the confusion and thanks for the review

funny

good funny song.

and the music itself is perfect for the style.

i can't beleive it took this long to get a review.

JonH2O responds:

No time to leave a review..Gotta rush to play battlefield 2 online with 13 year olds.

that sounds great

didn't hear the first version, but i see no midi sounds here.

sounds good, and video gamish..except whoah is there ever some really loud drum hits, that are way louder than the rest of the song.

good tune 5/5 9/10

Gorekiller responds:

Yeah, the snare' rolls are way too loud... I don't know how, but I've managed to fix this problem. Thanks for the review, pal !

good use of classic elements..

and it has a good beat. many of the sounds are nice, and smooth with just enough edge to give a punch.

personally, i would left some of the occasional voice parts out, like when the guy talks. the vocoder stuff was a keeper though.
and some of the levels are off IMO, some things are a tiny bit too loud, others are a little too soft.

the kick just sounds....too muffled..like it is in another room. and it sometimes disappears all together, when you know it is supposed to be there.

perhaps you had your sub turned up the whole way when you were listening to it, where as i (when reviewing) listen with straight, eq'ed headphones, to hear the true vision of a song.

good stuff though.

ToyRobotMusic responds:

Thanks for the review. I understand what your saying about the kick. I think there is too much reverb on the kick, which is why it sounds like it's in another room. The whole tracks' reverb in general needs to be fixed. I'll probably just drop this track, and start on a new one.

i love this song

this is full of energy and i love the sounds..

Waterflame responds:

thank you! :D glad you liked it!

nice

the piano work is smooth, once it comes in the feeling is really nice and full.
now the only bad points i can find (cause well, heck you said you want to finish it):

the piano is a little too much in the left ear...bring it like 10-15 degrees right and you should be good.

the strings..are...well, the notes, and chords and such are good, but the sample, or sound is just not making feel it...to muffled sounding.

all in all great work.

CrimzonWolf777 responds:

Thx for the review and the advice....I'll see what I can do. The only thing that's now pissing me off about this song is that someone down voted this song which made it go from a 5 to a 2 and didnt say why. but yeah thx though! ^_^v

btw stu, anything under this doesnt apply to you.

So whoever is reading this and down votes this song...I wanna know a reason why you did it and what made you hate this song... otherwise...FUCK OFF!!! thank you.

WHY.........

like your desc says...it is sucky.

it does nothing,
it does not even loop.

you don't even like it.

why bother uploading?

Lost-Wisdom responds:

Listen to it. It's pretty good. =)

if you are gpoing to steal a song...

at least make sure it hasn't already been submitted months ago...

That account is also me, I want to delete it though :(
So calm down. But on the plus side thanks for noticing!

man, i like happycore tunes.

i really think this is your niche.
good almost 8but sounds, happy tune, good beat.

all goodness.

RougeChocobo responds:

:) thanks. i like this song

actually, i don't know if it the distortion....

the thinness is there for all.
drums, base...everything has no bass.
perhaps it is just the recording.

all trebs, no bass.

check your eq's the distortions the bassiest thing in there.

but the riff is good.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

The distortion is quite thin. The guitars are layered 4 times, and the eq settings I've tried, the bassier ones add bad clipping. There is no actual bass. (Cause I don't have one) But that would definitely help a great deal. The drums are from EZDrummer, and I rarely add an eq setting over them...Until I add a mastering eq over the whole track. I did turn the low end up as high as I could go, without clipping, but it wasn't too far. Sadly.

Anyways man, hopefully the final version (if I ever get at it) will be much better. But this was mostly a test for feedback, and Its good to get "helpful" feedback. So thanks for the review, dude! Thanks for listenin too.\m/

For every mistake you make, remember that you have just eliminated another possibility, and come that much closer to the goal.
